Pillowcases

Making pillowcases has become an addiction. I'm thinking seriously about an Etsy shop. I don't actually expect to sell any, but that's not really the point.

Here are two I finished today with fabric I got in Sedona. The ones on the left are mine -- you know, with the bright, bold colors. The ones on the left are for T's mother, who is fond of Kokopelli.

  1. Beautiful! I make pillowcases too. There's always so much fun fabric in the quilt shops, and nothing even close in a department store bedding department. I've made an especially large number for my kids--it's getting to the point now where we are going to have to weed some out.

Can quilting be far behind (for you, that is)???

  2. Thanks!

I've been quilting for awhile now! The thing I love about the pillowcases is that they're much more instant gratification than a whole quilt, unless you have three straight days to do nothing but, which I rarely do anymore. That's unfortunate, because I have at least seven quilt projects in various stages of progress. And at least five more that are ready to start. Sigh.
